RFP Round 1 Status Update

The Expression of Interest (EOI) period commenced on August 11, 2010. Request for Proposals (RFP) began on August 26, 2010 and closed on September 24, 2010. Below is a status update to RFP Round 1:

Participate in the RFP Program

Welcome to the .JOBS Request for Proposal (RFP) website operated by Employ Media LLC, the Registry Operator of the .JOBS sponsored TLD. In accordance with Employ Media’s request for a Phased Allocation Program for non-company names recently approved by the ICANN Board, Employ Media is now undertaking the necessary steps to make available industry, occupation, geographic and dictionary names within the .JOBS sponsored TLD. The first phase of this process will be a series of RFPs (the RFP Program) that are intended to be processed in distinct rounds. The purpose of this website is to provide third parties the opportunity to engage Employ Media regarding potential opportunities in connection with the RFP Program. To this end, an Expression of Interest form will remain available at this web site for interested parties to contact us.

RFP Round 1 – Start Date: August 26th, 2010

Steps to participate and complete a RFP application pursuant to the RFP Round 1 are outlined below:

1. All applicants must fill out the RFP application form. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

2. Please e-mail your completed application form, in .PDF format, to: support@goto.jobs with "RFP Response" in the subject line.

3. Print out a hard copy of your application, and make sure you have completed sections 6.0 and 7.0. Mail the hard copy to:

     c/o .JOBS
     3029 Prospect Avenue
     Cleveland, OH 44115 USA
     Attn: RFP Response

4. A US$250 Application Processing Fee shall be charged to each application. This fee is non-refundable. Please enclose a check or US postal money order with the printed version of your application, payable to "Employ Media."

5. Please see the application form for all details and terms, including a listing of criteria under which your proposal will be assessed.

6. The deadline for receipt of all applications (both your electronic and print versions) is 12:00 UTC on 24 September 2010. Employ Media reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to extend the RFP period, to reject proposals received after the submission deadline and/or deficient or incomplete proposals.
